My wife and I moved back to Texas from California in December. Our forever home is now in Boerne, Texas. The property we bought has a 30'x40' steel building on it that I am planning to extend another 40' on the backside.
This site is awesome for ideas and how too's. Looking forward to spending time here gaining knowledge!

Welcome. We moved from Washington to Florida a year and a half ago. Got any photos of the building ? We like photos here.
Looking forward to following your add-on progress. Good luck.

Welcome to the Forum from Coronado, California; the birthplace of Aviation for the US Navy.

I have visited Texas, some folks like it and others don't.

Just off FM1376. Great location, 10 minutes to downtown Boerne and 30 minutes to downtown Fredericksburg.

My folks live off of Walnut Grove Rd. It is amazing to me how that much that area is growing.

Well, since you said you are moving BACK to Texas I'll assume that you lived here before and therefore we will allow it.

California natives wanting to move to Texas must go through the state mandated political re-education program first.

Leave the Californian stuff there in CA when you move.

Just kidding.... or am I???

Hope your enjoying the beautiful hill country. I'm sure you have taken the time to make the run to Lukenbach since you are so close. Are you doing anything fun with your shop yet?

Adding another 30x40 to the back side. also 2 mini splits, two 4 post lifts, small office, foam insulation and finally painting the floor.
I think thats enough to get started! I have to figure out how to upload pictures!!

Love the Fredericksburg area! Added onto the backside of the shop, now working on the inside, A/C, 4 post lifts, small office, air compressor, bathroom. That should get me going! LOL

The way I upload images is to click on the icon in the red circle. On my Mac I can drag from the photos app into that "drop Image" box. if you have the files on your computer you can click in the box and it will bring up a file list for you to chose the file to upload. Good luck.
