Does anybody have any recommendations for reusable desiccant packs? I've got two pistol safes I'd like to protect the contents of as well as a smaller personal safe. Moving into the basement and worried about that. There is one dehumidifier and may get a second.

throw them in the oven on low (up to 200F) and they dry out, and can be re-used.

I bought a bottle of blue beads for my air compressor. when they turn pink I set the oven on low and pour them on a sheet pan. when they're deep blue they're dry.

most safes don't seal and if you don't check the beads/packs regularly you'll have no idea when they're done.

Yep, that's what I do for the silica gel in my air line moisture remover. Works fine.

I have a few plug in style ones. One of the brands is Remington, the other is the same design, but a different brand (eva-dry)

I keep one in both of my safes and two plugged in to dry out. I then switch them out as they become used. Super convenient makes it worth the cost for me.

I have a small indicator pack like that in the safe that I augment with a some silica gel packets from new products. When the pack indicates it is exhausted, I put all of them in the oven to reactivate.
