Reversable Torque Wrench

So while working on the Harley I came across a couple left handed nuts .I never thought much about them until I went to re- install them and they needed torqued. Now I have a nice PROTO 1/2" drive TQ wrench so when I went to torque down my 1 7/8" nut it no clickee. What the #$%# SO I grab Craftsmen which by the way I just bought and same thing gotD@@#$%. Had to borrow friends Snap-On and she clicks right where I needed it in reverse . Never gave it any thought that a torque wrench would not work in the counter clockwise rotation.

Need to look at the specs for each individual tool. Some do, some don't, and many are not as accurate LH as they are RH. Most Protos do work LH.

You can always consider a simple beam type, they certainly will torque both ways as will a dial type. I have several Sturtevant Richmont torque wrenches which have one way mechanisms, but with removable/interchangeable/reversible heads so they can easily be used to torque LH if needed.

Most of my lower torque wrenches don't click but more of a feel or release but mine are snap ons
