Reverse action pliers

What's out there in pliers that open when the handles are squeezed? I have two or three brake lock ring pliers that have seldom seen brake work, but have been generally used as spreaders and to grip from the inside. I also have pliers to open and close swag lamp chain links. There are also tiny similar ones for jewelers to open jump rings. I just got one from a flea market with crescent-moon shaped jaws. It is marked "Roper" but is definitely not from Roper-Whitney that sheet metal tool company. Maybe an appliance special from Roper appliances? It would pop the knobs off a range nicely. Lighting makes it look bronze, it isn't. Steel or malleable iron. It also looks new-ish, so it isn't likely a bygone era tool.

maybe look at transmission pliers as well if inteested

for lockrings without eyelets, imperial make a bunch of em and knipex too

The Strong Holds look interesting. I've used the mini General Tools planer jacks for serious inside spreading in the 2 to 3 inch range. Those might be much easier.
