Alright guys, so ratcheting wrenches are my #1 most used tool in my profession. Well, that and regular wrenches when size requires.

Anyway, I have Snap On ratchet wrenches from 1/4'' to 3/4''.... Issue is, that is all they offer. I use wrenches up to 2'' on a regular basis. I would like to expand my set up to 1'' at least, 1-5/16'' in the future.

So, what brand should I go with? I would like length to be comparable to the Snap On ones, and quality good as well (not against Gearwrench, import brands, etc). Would like to stick with one brand from 13/16'' on up....

I do like the look of this Gearwrench set, will get me up to 1'', but I do not think they make larger (would like same brand).

Those are not reversible, also I am strewing away from Gearwrench, they are short compared to my Snap On. Honestly I really just want to get up to 1'' for now.

I know proto makes larger sized reversible wrench, and they are even US made. Although I don't know how their lengths compare to SO.

Was actually just checking them out. I would be willing to pay Snap On prices for these extra wrenches, but Proto is ridiculously expensive. And they are shorter than Gearwrench, which is shorter than Snap On......

Just for reference, the largest Snap On one (3/4''), is 12'' long.

If SO made reversible wrenches larger than 3/4", then I would own them. Until such time as that changes, I am pretty happy with my GearWrench set that goes all the way to 2". Even though they are not reversible, they are pretty tough, I've had them doubled up for breaking loose exhaust and frame bolts on Cooper-Bessemer engines and they have even had a 12 lb dead blow help them along a few times and I've never broken one.

I would definitely own them too. I have had no luck on my search for long pattern reversible ratcheting above 3/4''.

I will say, I was on the phone with Snap On yesterday, and I mentioned to the lady that Snap On should make these. She said to send and email, and it will get passed along.

It drives me nuts that Snap-On has not expanded their reversible offerings.

I have the Blue Point set from 5/16-1" and 8-25mm. They have been great wrenches and I've warrantied a 7/16 and 1/2". Other than those often used sizes, no issues.

My large blackhawk ratchet wrenches are nice. I have 21mm up to 34mm. I believe they make an equivelent set in standard. They are very nice.
