I'm guessing you didn't follow his link - NO OPEN ENDS - break it loose with the standard non-ratcheting 15 degree offset box, flip the wrench and spin it with the flex-head ratcheting end.

That is exactly what I am looking for but the price is beyond me. Does anyone know who makes/sells wrenches with all those features but at cheaper price.
I need a 13mm desperately.

Gearwrench makes a similar product, but I prefer the classic XL gearwrench design, non flex with 12 point instead of spline. Have used them for years, they're fantastic.

I would be VERY tempted by that USA set of williams, Dual 80 ratcheting end plus a fancy open end. I wasn't aware these were available.... I need more room in the wrench drawer.
Its the old Snap-on ones though. Ratcheting box ends were pretty thick and you will break the little nubs off the reverse lever. Snap-on use to sell repair kits for a couple bucks, not sure Williams will.
If it helps you can buy singles. Its 12**MRCU where ** is the desired size like 08 for 8mm or 1213MRCU for 13mm and so on.
Gearwrench 120XP for pretty much the same product.
Mountain and Platinum for similar lengths without the fixed box end.

I have Huskys and they work for me.
So a follow up here. I ended up going with Tekton, partly because I was ordering other things from them anyway, partly I liked the quality vs price, and partly because I liked the six sided ratcheting box end.
I'm happy with them, but haven't had to use them much since buying them, but that's another story altogether!

Yep 6 point tektons not that great.
Best sensible price set on market is the Hi-five ICON long pattern combo reversible set .
Nice 12 point wall drive with pretty slim rings, decent enough ratchet mechanism that standing up to my daily abuse fine and with a usable warranty that likely useful on this sort of tool as you got good chance of using warranty a few times over the years thus getting true value from the purchase price .

I've had a set of huskys for over 15 years. Used daily 5 days a week 9 hr a day. They're worn. 12mm slips. 8mm doesn't hold at all anymore. I went to home depot to inquire about their warranty and they'll replace them with a new set. The bad part is that the new set doesn't come with the whole set. The "new" set is 10,12,13,14,15mm. Old set is 8,10,12,13,17,19mm. So I get fewer wrenches and the sizes I use most often are missing from the new set. No thank you. I'll source them elsewhere this time. The local hardware store has a clearance going on, and I am hearing that they've got some ratcheting wrenches hanging in the clearance section. Definitely have to check that out. I'd just as soon buy a whole new set.

I have some Proto,and some Williams ,U.S.A.Both excellent feel,fit and finish.They are a welcome addition to my tool box.Another instance of study the wrench and application. A firm believer in buying quality,and buying once,glad I did.

Has anyone tried the OEM reversible ratcheting wrench sets? I read they were Taiwan made. And not too bad on price.

Mobile Distributor Supply had OEMTools' offering around $95 with pass-through sockets free. They come with a set of replacement "rings" for the ring-stop feature (always nice to have spare parts), I'm a fan. I've been using them, and while I do my best to not beat the hell out of the ratcheting end (my OEM warranty experience has not been the greatest), I'm a fan overall. The Tekton ones were my top pick initially, but I didn't want to spend $150 -- the second choice were Icon, but I had concerns about longevity of the brand. If the OEM ones weren't such a great deal I likely would've wound up with the Tekton, as I've bought other Tekton and it's been fantastic tools and a great warranty reputation.
I gotta admit, the free pass-through sockets really nailed it for me. They work out great in a lot of tight places, though I have not tried changing directions under load.
They're at least worth looking into, in my opinion.

As I understand it, metric inches are much smaller than SAE inches. You might be disappointed.
I read this thread a few times before I started posting here, and I ended up going with the Proto USA set. I needed the larger sizes.
If Icon sold singles I'd give them a try

I love satin finish, it's a travesty that Proto doesn't offer theirs in satin. It's one of the reasons I got Wright wrenches.

The "ring stop" feature means you can not flip the wrench over to use in tight spots.

I prefer satin on everything when I can find it. Cap stop (Gearwrench I think? Fedwrench would know, he hates those things) or ring stop might not bug me on an offset reversible wrench, especially if it helps keep a free set of pass- through sockets from sliding around... I've used ordinary combos upside down, but it's uncommon, and usually it doesn't work. Good point all the same.
yes you can as they are removable rings, so remove the stop ring and you got a normal box end .
OEM is same stop design concept as facom uses .

I've been using these for a few months now and love them. Admittedly, I'm a DIY guy and mostly use them on my motorcycle (light duty use) but I can't see why they wouldn't hold up to a power user.

Ring stop is different than capstop. Gearwrench's capstop is a thin flat washer on top of the 12 point ratcheting boxed end. There's no using a reverse grip on that *************
Ringstop as found on OEM tools ratcheting wrenches and others is different because it's only a small piece of wire in the ratcheting 12 point boxed end. You can apply slight pressure downward, the wire expands slightly allowing you to use a reverse grip if desired. You can also simply remove the piece of wire. The OEM ratcheting wrench set I have even came with a set of replacement wires.

Thanks Fedwrench. I was looking at the Capri website today and picked up a couple singles to try out- the reversible ratcheting wrenches and sets are buy one, get one half off, right now so the cost was similar to single Tekton reversibles.

I know I've already posted about having bought the Tekton set, but I thought I'd also post about storage now that I have them.
I ordered the set (8 ~ 19mm) with the tool wrap in case I need to travel with them, but keep them in a Harbor Freight US General 5 drawer cart. I have sockets in the full length shallow drawer, and larger power tools in the full length deep drawer which left only half length drawers to fit wrenches in.
I ended up also ordering the Tekton standard combination wrench set which has a slightly larger range of sizes (8 ~ 22mm) and managed to fit both of them in the half length drawer using modified Harbor Freight wrench racks:
After test fitting and measuring, I cut down the wrench racks to the appropriate length, then drilled 1/4" holes at the front and rear. I got hold of some 1/4" threaded rod, and used some 1/4" PTFE hose that I had left over for another project to set the internal distance between the two sides of the rails.
The nuts on either end don't actually hold the two rails tightly in place, but they keep them in position and prevent each rail from tipping over if the drawer is shut quickly.
