Reversible Stubby Ratcheting Wrenches

I'm only seeing a handful of these out there, including Blackhawk, Williams and Icon.

I'm leaning toward the Icon due to cost. COO on everything I've seen seems to be Taiwan regardless of whose name is stamped on the tool.

Is there another mfg. with reversible stubbies that I should take into account?

The USAG wrenches are not the same as Mac/Facom. They’re decent, but the finish is duller and the open ends are a lot thicker. I’ve owned both and the Macs are way nicer.

Never seen stubby ones, but I bet the Mac/Facom ones are really nice.

Threads from 2010-12 indicate these are early 2000s wrenches probably found in a warehouse somewhere. Made in Taiwan and seem to be quality as they are identical ringers to Blackhawk of the time. I grabbed a pair for shits and giggles as the last thing I need is more wrenches

Thanks for the link! I went ahead and bought a set of them. The features and price were right and the sizes it skips can be filled in with singles as needed. Worst case scenario, I’m out $23, but I doubt I’ll have any issues.

So mine just showed up yesterday. A bit stiff out the box but considering their age and time sitting in a warehouse somewhere not bad. I dunked them in some ATF and they are butter smooth.

Nice positive switch that's flush set, nothing janky, nice thick chrome and tight fit on bolts. It is skipping some sizes but none that I ever use. I am buying another set tonight

I like the icon ones. No issues, nice case for toolbox

Those Harbor Fright Icon’s look nice but are $30 more thank the Tektons. They do come with a nice holder and better warranty though

That’s included in the $20 price. Not a bad deal at all. I’m still unsure on getting the Huskys or dropping the $75 for the set of 12 Tekton’s that have the oddball sizes. Murphy’s Law says that it will be the oddball sizes that you’ll need a stubby wrench for.

Agreed, but the OP referenced being out $23 so I assumed it was targeted in some way. Meaning not all people were seeing the discount.

The $23 I paid included my local sales tax. Pre-tax cost was $20.31.

I agree with ChrisLS8, really nice wrenches. Especially considering the price.
