Reversing a roll up door

Hi All,
I have a roll up door that was originally the back exit of the garage. Some time in the past, a small extension was added to the back of the house.
I would like to be able to lock the room up the extension created, but the garage door locks from the inside of that room now!
Is it possible to remove the door, roll it in the opposite direction and reinstall it so the lock faces outward. The locking bars would be on the inside now.
The roll at the top will be on the wrong side, but I can live with that.

Can you just remove the hardware and install on the other side of the door? Most of these attach the hardware with bolts through the door, seems you could just reverse things.

I would wonder if you will ned to modify the rails with the locking bits on the other side of the door (i.e., enlarge the opening the locking bars go into).

Do what he said and just move the lock to the other side. You will have to make some sort of catch for the bottom lock to attach to on the frame opening. Your track will be on the other side. If your building is a metal building, you should just be able to cut a slot in the door frame for the newly relocated door lock.

I cant reverse it in the same location on the opposite side of the door, the locking bar won't align with the cutouts in the track. If roll the door the opposite direction,m no cutting and drilling required.
