Revisiting recommendations for jack for maxjax height lift?

Im going through old threads, most of the jacks are discontinued now.

I have a maxjax lift, Im planning on using the harbor freight hydraulic cart and low lift transmission jack for any transmission work...

But I wanted something for smaller work...like there are a lot of times where I need to hold up the exhaust or need to slowly jack suspension pieces in a small area and trying to use a floor jack and stacks of rubber blocks isnt quite cutting it lol.

Anyone have recommendations? I feel like those two stage transmission jacks might be too bulky for this.

Im assuming something like this but cut down is the only route?

Those jacks are great! I have a 2 post lift and I have 2 of those same type jacks. They have almost a 2 foot adjustment range and a very good load capacity.

I don't know the lifting height of a Maxjax. I'm assuming its not very high so thats's why you are talking about cutting the jack down?
