Due to the nature of having to reload the whole thread I start a new one.

You're nuts... I had to load and unload a wagon of hay this morning in 25F weather, and the two hours I spent outside was enough for me for the rest of the day. And it wasn't even snowing!

I was scared to open this thread from the title of it :scared:

I don't even dream of going outside when the weather is like that unless I'm going snowboarding! That steel looks cold! I had to hang Christmas lights today and wasn't happy it was 49 and sunny out.

It was nice out today, about 28 and calm, only a few flakes now and then. I have been in some miserable places, I set steel on a hi-rise addition on a hospital in the middle of a bitter winter, another on a cement plant and another large building like this one, 200x200 or so. This is a piece of cake, my office and shop are 200 ft away, get a coffee whenever I want. I am not looking fwd to the sheeting, I should have been finished by now but stuff happens and I am a month behind. If I get a little weather break in a week or so to get the sheeting started things will be ok. Thats my man Rex, normally my neighbor John or myself would be doing the connecting but the rest of the crew were on holiday today and the weather was nice so we hung a few akward peices, good experience for him. So far it looks like we will finish all the major steel tomorrow. It will take a day to stuff the rest of the bolts, square and tighten.
