Hello everyone; I recently purchased a reznor F100 natural gas heater for my garage and the heater turned on for a couple minutes and shut off. Now it doesn’t do anything ! The pilot light stays lit but that’s all, I installed a new thermostat and thermocouple but still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas how to proceed on troubleshooting the hanging reznor heater?

try testing the transformer. 120V in and 24V on the out side. some are 120V in & 12V on the out side. it should be printed on the transformer. I just bought a new transformer on E-BAY $12.00. just type in 120V to 24V transformer. your furnace doesn't know it is not a reznor transformer.

Jump R and W terminals at heater.

Probably has a high limit or rollout that might have a manual reset.

Post some pics of the install. 100,000 is a big heater. How big is the garage?

My UDAT150 Reznor had issues when it was first installed by my contractor. It would run around 6-8 minutes then shut down due to the high temp switch (Klixon). After a couple of trips out by my contractor and he being unable to get it to run any longer I took it upon myself to diagnose it. I contacted Reznor because I had a question about gas pressure and BINGO, that was the issue. The gas pressure was set to sea level at the time of manufacturing and my contractor did not turn it down.

I could tell a big difference in the sound of the burner while I was reducing the gas pressure at the gas valve. I set it to the recommended setting for my altitude and it runs like a champ.

I would start by identifying if it is shutting down due to high temp. and there have been no changes to gas pressure.
