Rhino Flooring

Current project at work spec'd Rhino Extreme for a floor covering.

The whole floor was sheathed with SCUF AC Plywood. Same ply was used for the base, and a 1" cant strip was added to help ease cleaning in the corners.

We spent the weekend getting ready for them to come out today and start prepping the floor.

They caulked and troweled all the plywood seams and screwheads, then applied the primer.

Tomorrow they will spray 2 coats, then sand any uglies and apply the final coat.

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

After another 12 hr. day, we got the floor sprayed out, and demasked.

The amount of prep work was kinda mind-boggling.

Everything has to be masked off. Very time consuming.

I left my real camera at work so these are just phone pics.

Over all it is 3 coats with some sand for non-slip traction.

The 2nd pic is the insulated hose and you can see the sanding has been done between coats.

What was the patch that they used on the joints? Looks good

Interesting, I have never seen that before. Do you have some finished pictures?

We covered the floor with paper and corex to protect it from paint and/or damage during construction.

Will post pics as we get closer to finish product.
