Funny thing about Rhode Island, the collectors here are a large very tight group. Good people and they know their plates. The 62's I need are very scarce and the collectors I know well, have helped me a great deal.

I am on FB, eBay and Craigslist multiple times a day. Best I can hope for is yard sale types... I do advertise on Craigslist as well... in some cases I get some gems. We will keep trying!

My small saw was not running, so I took it apart... rebuilt the carb and then decided to replace the gas line and filter, the gas line was sucked in and shut tight... no wonder poor girl was starving... runs like a champ now

New Plate to me, my wife is a Hospice RN and she works at this place... well name has changed since. And in RI there is a 600 pre-order prior to a plate going into production... this didn't make it. So I scored a sample...

No Sir, But Charities can petition the state to get a plate created, so people can buy them and have their number on them. A portion of the cost to make the plates goes to the charity as well usually there is a $10 fee tacked on to the renewal fee that benefits them as well.

A minimum order of 600 plates needs to be garnered before the state will allow them to be made. This one dod not make it, but there were I think about 5 samples that they had. Three are in private hands, unsure where the rest are.
