Very quality hardware. Hinge pins were all wore out but we managed. Just wondering if anyone has seen this old bi fold system in use20220803_144151.jpg

Almost every part has a rw stamped into it. The handles also wich I'd love to find two of.

That closing system is ingenious. Good job salvaging all that hardware. Did you build new doors, or rehad the existing?

New doors. The old ones weren't original and were too far gone. Rw said that they haven't made any of those parts since long before I was born. And the way the track system works allows the doors to completely fold out of the opening and lay flat against the wall. Very thought out. They're not solid but there's no openings for moisture to get in. Hard to believe all this Hardware sat on a saltwater Coast for over 100 years.

There are just a handful of bi-fold garage doors in my historic neighborhood. Non function that I can determine. I've thought of approaching some of the property owners about installing a newer door for them in exchange for the hardware, but at this stage any replacement, as cheap as it may be, is more expensive than I could buy from a salvage place.
