how big is it? how's the condition? how badly do you need a vise?
how often do good vises come for sale in your area?
you can probably find a better deal, but it may be a year from now.

There is info listed on the spreadsheet. Here is a link to the one they reference. I have a Desmond Stephens 51P (non swivel) and it is a darn good vise.

That's not a terrible price. I think @Cleave summed it up pretty well. If you need a heavy duty user vise and the lack of a swivel base doesn't bother you I'd say try to negotiate down some. There are those on GJ that claim to not be able to find useable american iron at any type of decent price. If you fall in that category I'd say jump on it. That's a very tough vise and should last a lifetime.
