Ridge vise color

Anyone know what the original color of Ridge vises were? After wire wheeling through about 10 layers of "safety yellow" I think it may have been either grey or black.

I can't speak for all Ridge vises, but my Ridge Simplex 43 CPN is industrial grey.

OK, Thanks. I was told It was on a service truck and painted yellow, took a few hours with a wheel to get it cleaned up.

I believe this 1 is original "safety blue" when i got it.

I'm guessing my Simplex is much older than that.

Yes, prolly so.
I was offering option of blue as his later ridgid was closer years to mine.
His ridgid from his general tool thread.
