I have a Rigdid swivel base bench vise that is probably at least 60 years old. It came out of the old Nestlé chocolate plant in Fulton, New York. To my surprise, it still had the pipe jaws with it. I've stripped it down to bare metal and am getting it prepped for paint. I found just a hint of dark red paint on the pipe jaws suggesting that it was originally painted Ridgid red. And I would like to paint it as close as I could to that original color using rattlecan paint. I searched here hoping that someone had already proposed what brand of Rustoleum to use for this purpose, but surprisingly came up empty handed. What rattlecan red color is closest to the original Ridgid red? Suggestions?
