I’ve got the Ridgid batteries for my drill and impact driver. I’m very happy with the quality.

I am thinking of buying a Ridgid cordless vacuum to quickly clean carpet in cars and trucks.

I’ve got a corded Ridgid I’m happy with but sometimes I’d like to avoid the cord.

Anyone have comments/suggestions?

thanks.

The handheld or NXT vacuum? I have the Ridgid Gen5x hand vacuum and it works really well around the house. Use it almost daily and I love it. The suction isnt strong enough for much beyond spot cleaning in the car, however. The newer one might be much better in that regard.

I have no experience with the cordless NXT canister vacuum however.

18V Cordless Hand Vacuum. Not the newer Gen 5’s.

I have two of the Dewalt cordless vacs
The larger one works ok
The smaller one works good but is just for small stuff

The traditional corded shop vac blows both of them away, but even with that I rairly use a vac to clean my car, I use the blow bun on the compressor and it works better than any vac I have ever seen

I have the older x4 Ridgid cordless vac. The convenience and size of it are amazing. the only downside is it goes through batteries pretty quickly.
project farm on YouTube did a comparo a while ago, so most of the models are probably off the market, but it might give you some ideas,

"I use the blow bun on the compressor"

I've heard about these but have never seen one in person. Would you care to explain, evaluate & recommend?

Anyone else use this?

What size compressor do you need to say "vacuum the inside of my truck"?

Thanks.
