RIDGID Double Box End???

A vendor had this. It was the only wrench of any kind on the table. I had never seen one before and was examining it. He asked if I was interested and told me it was only $10. I was carrying a lot of stuff and this was more weight so I just said: "Thanks anyway" and started walking away. He said "$8". More walking. Then, "$6". I just turned and smiled and waved and kept walking. Then, when I was almost out of earshot when he yelled "$2!". I wasn't trying to bargain, but what could I do? It is now home with me.

Anyone ever seen a Ridgid that was not a pipe or adjustable wrench before? I searched ITCL and e-bay to the best of my ability and could not find any double box ends (or even combos or double open ends for that matter).

One side says: " 1-1/8 (3 B 1 1) RIDGID No_36 Made In U.S.A." - (unsure if I'm correctly deciphering the part in parentheses).
Other side says: "1-1/16".

It is 16 inches long. It has traces or red or orange paint but I don't know if it is factory paint.

Ever seen one of these? If not, any idea where else I might look to find more info?

Very cool wrench and a great buy for $2! Wonder if it’s for water heaters. Need a plumber to chime in.

Interesting.

1) It looks like the only Ridgid wrench there had the same size openings as mine. I wonder if this was a special wrench that Ridge Tool Company made specifically to go along with one of their other pieces of equipment? (NOTE: that was when I used your link the day you posted it. NOW if I use your link, it brings up my wrench. Curious if this is what others are now seeing?)

2) From your link I also learned that RIDGID is commonly misspelled as RIGID. Using that spelling as a search term brought up many more hits for general searches (even here on GJ). However, other than the one wrench in your link, I did not find any other Ridgid DBEs.
