Anyone know the diameter and length of a Ridgid F60 vise handle? I bought one of these vises but the handle was missing. I suspect that they are 18mm diameter and probably about a foot long, but I would like to know what was originally used.
The Ridgid uses a similar spring on the spindle to the Heuer vise design. I made some modifications by replacing the spring with a spacer and making a bushing for the movable jaw casting. Now the (temporary) handle swings freely. I like it much better that way.
