ABout 2 years ago, Ridgid changed their supplier of hole saw. It appears that Crip bought out the remaining supply. I bought a 4" Bi-Metal Cobalt Industrial Grade Steel Hole Saw for $8 plus shipping (discount for shipping multiple items). Original list price was $32.

They have a couple of different sets as well as most individual hole saws. Don't forget to buy a mandrel.

Addition 10% discount if you buy through the Cripe web site and use coupon code Summer2013.

The Ridgids disappeared from my HD a year or two ago? I assumed it was because they stated lifetime warranty on the package and HD didn't want to warranty a hole saw for life (I don't blame 'em).

I'm sure you looked into this, but I've seen drastic differences in the cost of shipping from Cripe's ebay listings to their website (in the case of ratcheting wrenches ebay's flat rate shipping was half what their website wanted to charge me).

edit: I started a thread here 11/2010 wondering/rambling about the disappearance of Ridgid hole saws, but no one seemed too interested

Maybe it IS just my store?

My experience with shipping there is that they quote a crazy charge, and then refund some of it. No idea why. I buy consumables there and try and buy a bunch of stuff so I don't feel bad about the shipping, and then they charge me less.

Actually I was NOT aware of the difference !

I actually bought my 4" on eBay. I mentioned their website because I had a coupon code.
