I am researching this subject. Any help on this is most welcome. I've found that
00-R Die heads are for threading 1/8-1" pipe
00-RB Die heads are for threading 1/4-1" bolts/rods

*Both die heads use the same ratchet head/handle (38565/38590), correct?
*Anyone know what is the handle length & diameter?
*Finally what is the difference between 0-R and 00-R Die heads?

Cheers1

Difference in the 0-R and 00-R is the max diameter you can thread with them. The 00-R is max 1" pipe and the O-R is max 2" pipe. Both handles are 3/4 pipe thread and will fit either head but for the 2" pipe you do need the longer handle for leverage. One is about 18-20 inches the other is 20 to 24" if that matters. The reamer handle is 19 inches and I think that is the same as the 00-R handle. I have a 600 power thread vice with cutting head so I have not used my manual heads in the last 8 years.

O-R heads are male headed die holders and the ratchet works are completely in the head on the handle.

OO-R heads are smaller and the ratchet teeth are on the head.

Still current tooling so must be more details from online Catalogs.
