I am going through my father-in-law's, father, and my grandfather's tools. While I have kept the lions share, I have to thin some out. Do I keep the 18 inch Ridgid pipe wrench, or the 18 inch Fulton? Both probably 30s era, in not earlier, similar condition, though the Fulton is more refined. Thoughts?

I am starting to think I don't need them, as I can't remember when I used them last. I think one is from grandfather on my dad's side, and the other my mom's side. They got along well, I guess I will just keep them both. Never thought about the two used together. Thanks!

Keep them if you need them or if you like. If not sell them off. both were well regarded brands. Unless you are a pipe fitter or work in a trade that deals with large diameter round pipes and vales, you will likely not need a pipe wrench for anything. On another note, seems to be one of those tools that most average home owners run out and buy thinking they neeed one, yet the vast majority of people will never have need for a pipe wrench for anything. A better tool to seek out would be something like the Ridgid 10" offset hex wrench, can see more use in that.
