A lot of pretty bad real reviews, and not just "came broke" or "wont rip a log". But packed gears, broken handles, not a lot of product support, etc...

The stand is great, specially when $99 on sale. But look to the Dewalt 10" jobsite saw, its the industry standard, and for good reason.

I have a Ridgid table saw which I love, but it's a much bigger, stationary model. I'm down on Ridgid tools right now because as soon as they discontinue a model, there are no parts to be had. I have a 12" sliding miter, and I couldn't even get new kerf plates for it. I can still get them for my cheap, 20 y/o Ryobi saw, though.

A friend of mine has one of those I have used it a few times at his house not impressed at all, flimsy fence and all around sloppy accuracy.

My makita 8" portable from the 80's performs better.

Not a big fan of portables if you have the space there are lots of 20 or more year old quality table saws to be found cheap. I picked up a 1959 delta unisaw for 150 at a estate auction I put more hours on it than that rigid would last. It will outlast me.

I have the older (10 + yrs) Ridgid portable saw and it works well. My neighbor picked up one of the newer models a couple months ago. He never got it fully unboxed before deciding it was junk. The biggest issue was the table was not flat.

I have an older model as well.
The motor just crapped out.
***** that their parts list is obsolete and a replacement motor is more than the Model the OP is listing!
As for Ridgid products - A lot of reviews are not great but they claim lifetime warranty if you register with them.

Before you toss it check the brushes.

I like mine OK. It replaced a 8”Makita that I’ve had for decades (and was still running when I gave it away). Having said that, it’s no where near a shop saw but it’s fine for ripping stuff on a job site where moving just the 2hp motor on my Contractor’s saw weighs more than the entire Rigid saw on its roller base.

A few weeks after black friday my local store had that saw in the clearance section for $300, took everything I had not to buy it. My goal is snap up the better dewalt tablesaw if it ever goes on a good sale price.
