This is a classic example of a "Serious Inquiries Only" ad. There is little to no information so you are forced to make a non serious inquiry to determine whether you are in fact serious or not. Then of course, they do not leave a phone number or any other method to better contact them then the CL email system which can be terribly flawed if you dont know how to use email filters. Which if you made a CL ad like this to begin with, then you probably dont. It is a beautiful Catch-22 that all the low IQ Craigflakes are using these days to not sell their item. I often wonder if they actually want to even sell them at all.

****, I cannot get my screenshot to go. You know what I mean though Im sure.

Here you go

That's about typical for Phoenix and the surrounding areas, I'm not surprised by the insane asking prices anymore. Gave up years ago trying to find a deal on a used box there. :eyecrazy:

I wish I had saved screenies of the ones I'd seen before, will have to keep this thread in mind next time I see one. :lol_hitti

Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's rain! It's an exceptionally stupid morning on CL today.

First up: "Anvil. Rail Road track section. - $10"
"12" 20 lb section of Rail Road track. Makes a great anvil. 5" surface. $10"

That's the funniest looking railroad track I've ever seen... But my experience is limited to using the street car at Disneyland to flatten pennies when I was a little kid and walking on the tracks as a teenager.

Next up: "DEWALT 1/2 in. 18-Volt Compact Li-Ion Cordless Hammerdrill"
"DEWALT 18-Volt Compact Li-Ion Cordless Hammerdrill. New these go for over $200." http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/tls/3112374172.html

Li-Ion, really? I haven't seen this style Dewalt hammer drill since the late 90's/early 2000's well before Lithium Ion became big.

Last up: "Nut Drivers. SAE. Long shaft. - $10".
"Nice older (early 1980's) set of 9 long shaft (9") SAE nut drivers. Excellent condition. $10." http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/tls/3082845274.html

They just look cheap so I googled CF just for fun, turns out CF wasn't even around until the 1990's and they're from the quality tool hotbed of South Africa.

That is just hilarious, especially the 'railroad track'. :lol_hitti

As I find myself saying far too often, "The stupid is strong with this one."
