We had one of these in HS auto class, I never seen one since. From what I remember (over 20yrs)our was a CP, they worked good but soaked up alittle power. Anyone know if they still make them?

i like the idea, use what ya got for another purpose, or make a tool of a tool. probly alot cheaper than buying a quality impact and a hammerhead type impact seperatly.

never seen one before today though. i just remember the manual ones with like four different rods that moved back and forth to turn the drives.

... expensive right angle attachment :shocking: ... I'd spring for a Hammerhead if I was in need of such an impact wrench configuration. If it's a one time need then I'd probably just weld something up to get the job done.

about two years ago i purchased a 3/8 and 1/2 cp version from a member here.

i have never saw anything like them again that is why i grab them. i think i traded a snapon gf80 and $20 for them

they work great for me taking off and tightening crank and cam bolts on subaru engines

I have several of the right angle adapters for CP impacts.

It seem that it fit a 734 with grove machined in the snout (cover with a rubber cap when not using the right angle.

I have some for 3/8 cps as well that I use for the draw bars on various mills I have.

The 1/2 inch was very handy especially on caliper bolts.

This was in the 70s when I first started wrenching at a GM dealer ship.

Would still be handy today I guess.

I have a weird looking thing from Lisle, its a bar with 1/2 drive welded on it and the other end attaches to long bit for a air hammer. Its not fancy, but it works.

The HF 3/8 air ratchet is impacting, and good up to a fair sized bolt, but maybe 75 ftlbs nothing like a crank bolt needs. Very nice for the price though, and no reaction to smash your knuckles when it locks up.
