Well my good Ol' HF special I've had for years come flying apart a day ago. It's stripped out and can't be fixed. Got my $ worth though, had it for like 8 yrs working as a field tech on construction and logging equipment.

Anyone have any luck out of Florida Pneumatic brands? May just go with another HF deal. Just curious on other options.

Get what you pay for though.

Thanks!

If you got 8 years out of the HF model I'd just go get another of those. My own is a cheap knockoff brand (can't remember) and I've used it hard on an almost daily basis as a professional mechanic for probably 10 years up until I retired. Still using it to this day, just not as much.

Some have great luck with the HF die grinders and others don't, typical of HF. I personally have the composite IR 3101G and love it. No frozen hands after long uses. Its like anything else though, some have great luck and others find something to nitpick about
