Are these all about the same quality, or are there some brands that are better than others?

I've always tried to be conservative, so I've only bought Amphenol.
I know a lot of generic BNC connectors are really crappy - it's probably the same with F connectors, which are often used for the same kind of application.

You're probably not going to see any effective difference with just an adapter like that that you're not actually crimping. Even so, if you're only using a few why not get good ones. Ideal connectors at Home Depot are probably a good choice and readily available.

like all connectors, you get what you pay for. I prefer the amphenol or belden, but the imported stuff is pretty much the same.
Mechanically is where they most often fail...electrically they work ok. Ohmmeter is your friend.

Why do you need to use an adapter in the first place? Is there a clearance issue? Even the best adapters result in some amount of signal loss.
Belden has manufacturing facilities all over the World, including China.. I agree that their stuff is first rate but are you sure that their connectors are not imported or doesn't it count if an American company has their own plant in a foreign country. I have Belden HDMI cables that are made in China.

because I have furniture in front of the coax outlet and want the furniture as close to the wall as possible..... Since the without this, causes the coax to stick out further and the furniture. Also so if you push the furniture back you don't smash and break the coax outlet.

I actually go for quality and reliability over COO -- as some of the far east stuff is junk and a fair amount is great quality. I would be surprised IF all Amphenol is US made any more..to be honest. I just threw away 6 PL 239 connectors that were shedding their plating before I even put the heat to them,
Belden cable and connectors have been built for decades and have a strong reputation to uphold, whether made here ....or there - where ever there turns out to be.
I was surprised to find out they even made connectors. I thought they were strictly in the wire and cable business. With the exception of power cords, those HDMI cables were the first Belden product I saw with connectors on their wire.

Funny you say that because that's what the cable guy said.
I suppose I could run a speed test after installing the right angle connector to see if it affects the speed. They have the Ideal brand at Home Depot. Is the Radio Shack brand any good? They have those on eBay.

You would see a loss, 2 or 3 times what a barrel or standard connector would show at ham radio/RF frequencies, not sure what the loss for SAT/TV is - but it would be similar to RF.
I doubt you would see a loss of speed as the network latency would be way more than any connector loss, short of it actually shorting out or failing physically.
Ping is your friend on true network speed..and simple to use...
Radio Shack stuff is junk.
They add attenuation if you have a strong signal it won't matter but weaker signals & now more importantly all these new modems & cable boxes that need their signal levels in a very specific range, so avoid them if possible

I used to buy tons of bnc adapters. The gold plated ones were anywhere from about the same cost to 2 1/2 times the money depending on which configuration. Even the most expensive ones were about $3.00 ea so I always bought the gold plated ones. Gold isn't as good a conductor as silver or copper but silver tarnishes quickly and gold resists corrosion much better than copper so is better for long term connections. This is why computers and other electronics use gold connectors and there is a market for recycling them.
Case In Point -
This is my $7000 video camera:
It sat for 2 years (my bad) but climate controlled etc. The copper ribbon cables the Chinese manufacturer used that connect the circuit boards all glazed and no longer pass current. I had to cancel an important shoot this week because of it. This is what my camera looks like presently as I manually clean each ribbon cable connection point.
I've used many video cameras and related electronics in my lifetime but never experienced anything like this. Most of this stuff at this level used to use gold contacts and I believe this kind of thing would not have happened had it been manufactured that way. I used to use Japanese made video monitors but when Sony switched to Chinese manufacturing I remember the weight of the monitors dropped by a good 15 lbs. (from about 60 to 45lbs.)

I got the Ideal F connector from Home Depot. Speed test with the connector on is 65.98 Mbps down and 6.05 Mbps up. Same test without the connector is almost identical. I should mention in case anybody else is thinking of doing this - the quality of the Ideal connectors seem to be excellent.
Radio Shack sold the lowest quality. Forget that idea. There is nothing wrong with Ideal.
