Rigid cordless tool question

Browsed hd to waste time today and saw a clearanced rigid 18 volt lithium ion 3 amp/hour set. 1/4 impact driver and hammer drill. I couldn't for the life of me find the drill size, 1/2 or 3/8, but it is a hammer drill. The sku I jotted down does nothing for me on their site or google, so I'm wondering if it's old and if it's even a good deal or not.

The hammer drill and impact driver are marked to $199 from $299, but that's on the yellow tag so I'm not sure if that's an inflated original price to make it look a better deal.

Good deal?

And if so, I can still use the 4.0 batteries right? Should I run across another rigid tool deal in their 18 volt line to add to these.

Thanks.

Lifetime warranty on the rigid stuff. As far as battery's go that is. My dad has it and seems to like it. He had to warranty out one battery. I believe the drill chuck size is 3/8. If you are getting it from homedepot try using a HF 20 or 25% off coupon. It's always worth a shot. Many people have walked away with discounts.

About two month's ago i did the combo set 3/8 drill and the impact 18v.Two drills, charger and radio with soft case for 200.They would not honor a H.F 25% coupon, but the girl did call the manager and he said he would split it with me,gave me 12,because they can't do .5,and i got the whole deal out the door with tax for 187 and change.

Been a pretty solid drill and i love the impact,I've always been a Milwaukee guy,but no one else has the battery replacement.Couple of nice features are,the betteries have strength indicators and they also have bright LED lights that aluminate the work piece.Pretty happy so far for the money.

I've seen that deal recently too that's why I wondered if this clearance deal I ran across was good or not. This is a hammer drill, which are typically more expensive, with an impact driver. I assume it's clearanced because it's the old battery style, or discontinued...which I'm fine with as long as it's a good deal. If not I can wait for their current line to go on sale like it was when you bought your kit.
