Hi,

I recently bought a Rigid orbital corded sander.
I registered it online and uploaded the receipt. So right now I'm waiting for the final confirmation.

In 2014, I bought 2 drill/driver/battery/charger kits. I also registered them online at that time. My Rigid dashboard show they are covered by the LSA. Both kits are still going strong and I never had to use the LSA so far.

At that time, in 2014, I remember mailing in the UPC code that I had to cut out of the box to finalize the LSA. I don't think there was an option to upload the receipt in 2014 and I don't have the original receipt anymore.

Even though my Rigid dashboard shows my 2014 kits are covered under the LSA, can they still ask for the original receipt?

I pretty much have the exact same situation, with having all my recent Rigid receipts—and LSA registration confirmations—over the last several years, but I'm not seeing my receipt for a 2014/15 purchase of an 18v Drill/Driver + Impact Driver Combo Kit. But I see that I also created an online Rigid account, so I'll check there, as I think I remember that all my Rigid purchases & LSA registrations did indeed show-up @ https://www.ridgid.com/ . . . and where the LSA is detailed here.

Edit — However, when I tried to log-in, the rigid .com website isn't recognizing my (correctly) typed username & password, nor has their p/w reset email arrived yet, after approx 10 mins. So that's a bit concerning !:~\

I would take screenshots of your lsa just in case. You don’t have to mail anything anymore. At least I haven’t in the last couple years. If you got it from Home Depot it will take a few weeks. If you got it from Direct Tools it can take up to a week.
