In for one, got shipping confirmation. Got the $10 off to work too. I didn't realise until too late that I could have made a ton of $11 orders with $10 off each one ... Oh well.

Not sure I'll use this much, especially if cfm spec is high, but figure at $17 delivered I can't go too wrong.

Just need an 85% discount on some Mileaukee M18 Fuel stuff now :)

I bet it depends on which tool head you are using for how much air it needs. At least I hope so, since my air compressor is a little undersized.

I see that it is listed as using 18.2 cfm? Can anyone confirm that because that is a lot of air in which case I will just get the electric version whenever it goes on sale next.

That is a ton of cfm. If they say that then it likely will use more. That is probably the reason these are being clearanced. Someone please post how they work with a 5hp compressor.

I ran the harbor freight one off a 5hp.....and it's probably similar specs or worse (in real life).

Can't say i used it for long stretches, just a bit here and there cutting or sanding something small, but it's nothing i really recall noticing.

These went back in stock a little after 3:00 am CST this morning. In case anyone was still considering one. My boss has wanted something like this for a while so this was the perfect Christmas gift for him and to make me look like I spent a lot of money on him. It does however appear that they disabled most coupon codes to be paired with it.

I would like to say thanks for the tip on this tool. I ordered just just before they went out of stock a few days ago and it came into my local store today. The wife will be picking it up and She won't give it to me until the 25th.

PT Doc, I used the promo code mentioned earlier "PROAPP10" and got an additional $10. off bringing it down to about $16.??

Thanks again Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got mine today. To my surprise It came with a swivel connector. My 60 gallon ingersoll ss3l3 ran it for just over a minute @ 85PSI before kicking on to replenish the tank.

Okay, I received mine too. It seems to be well made and heavy although I have not yet used it.

Considering this is modular, where can we get more heads for this thing? A pneumatic ratchet would be nice.

This is a Ridgid product so the attachments are only available through Home Depot. Unless somehow they end up by a clearsnce house selling refurbed stuff.

Ran mine for a few minutes just to test. Uses a lot of air but expected that ( i have a 10 dollar HF one too), i'd say it uses about the same as my sanders and small buffers, detail sander, etc. Have a 5hp 2 stage and any of those give it a work out even with good tools.

It seems well made, i was surprised at the reasonable noise level, aside from the pneumatic sound when i let of the paddle the noise level was about the same as the multimax corded i have comparing side to side (not including the compressor).

Home Depot had been clearing out the ratchet heads for $20 for the last couple of months. They're discontinued now. There are a few available on ebay for $35-$40 though. Some might pop up on cpo-ridgid sometime too.

Found one today at Direct Tools Outlet in Hagerstown, Md. With "Friends and Family" discount, it was $25 with sales tax.

So aside from HD getting my order wrong and sending me more than ordered (not complaining there), I went ahead and plugged one in and ran it. The motor on my compressor at home kicked in after 12-15 seconds and still gave it full power up to about the 30 second mark. If you need to run it longer I would say get a tool that better suits the job or you probably already have the proper air compressor.

I have this compressor if anyone is curious http://www.lowes.com/pd_470442-3044...L=?Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&facetInfo=

Yesterday I found 2 HD stores near me that still have the ratchet heads on the shelf for the $20 closeout price. There were only 1 or 2 left in each store but it's worth looking around if anyone wants one.

I bought the ratchet head but even at $20 it hardly seems worth it. My shipment of the pneumatic JobMax just arrived yesterday so I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Unless it's the quietest, most powerful ratchet ever, most people would be better off just buying a $20 air ratchet. For the $50-$70 they charge for each attachment you'd be better off just buying a separate air impact, cutoff saw, etc . No wonder they're closing out the pneumatic JobMax.

Here's the air usage spec page from the HD site, it's not very specific or useful.

i over the past year I've acquired a 12V motor along with a ratchet, hammer and multitool heads. I'm now moving towards Craftsman C3 and M12 stuff.
I'll post them in the classifieds as soon as I get over 100 posts.

I got mine in today. I have a iron horse 60 gallon and it ran it just fine. Nice little tool, all I bought for was the sanding part, and its works as well as expected and will get in the places my DA wont and it matches the pattern well, gives metal a nice tooth for primer. Highly recommend the Gator paper at Lowes for it.
