Good question. The charger says dc 4.8v 125 ma

Is it (2) Ni-Cad size C batteries? I guess I would measure them length and diameter and see what size they are. Then if it is Ni-Cad or Ni-MH. Guessing Ni-Cad but can't be sure...

Look like sub-c ni-cads. Search for ni-cad replacement batteries online.

Yes they do look like two sets of c battery’s . No info on the battery of any type.
