I broke one of my Grip-On clamps.
*gasp*

The rivet broke and God and only God knows where that sucker flew off to. :(

A regular pop rivet will not work. It needs to be virtually flush because when the thing is clamped the hole there goes inside of the handle.

I am not having any luck coming up with a decent solution.
Does anyone here have any ideas ? :headscrat

I'm having a brain fart on what actually hinges on that point, but could you maybe get away with a roll pin?

That is a tubular rivet. I have a handheld rivet press for applying those. You are welcome to borrow it. The rivets, themselves, are common hardware. They can be had locally at ROBNET of Baltimore, Grainger, and MSC. Diameter, length, and rivet composition (stainless?) are important considerations.

Long overdue update.
I found a perfect piece of rod to fit in there. Welded and grinded and back in use.

Sorry it took me so long to finish this post.

Thanks for everyones input.
