Road Box or Industrial Box

What companies made road boxes or industrial tool boxes? I bought one yesterday at a pawn shop and I can't find a manufacturer's name.

It has a drop front that is hinged from the bottom and four drawers that are galvanized metal. They are supported by heavy L brackets, so no drawer slides. The top is hinged at the back and comes down over the front with a padlock hasp.

The box is 25" wide, 14" deep, and 15" tall. This box is definitely factory built. Any ideas?

Snap on has made road boxes. I think Waterloo also along with many other manufacturers

SPG makes road boxes that are sold under their name as well as re-banded and sold under other names.

What companies or what is your box? Until you post pics it's just speculation.

It sounds like your box is just a portable box, possibly homemade (galvanized) and either very old (due to lack of sliders) or work van style (also didn't use sliders) which weren't designed for much load. Pictures and or at least dimensions would be of huge benefit.
