We drove from Philly to Albany for our son's RPI graduation, and I came home with some extras...

First... an Oliver No. 2 miter trimmer... all 430 lbs of it! Luckily it was easily broken down into a few parts, and then we could carry it out of the basement. This I bought specifically to resell... I'm moving away from woodworking and focusing on metal work.

A Reed 204 in pretty good condition... One of the jaws has a chip on one corner...

A Reed 204 1/2 in good condition...

And a Craftsman 4" 391.5188 in very good condition.

Oh yeah... and a Buffalo Forge blower...

Yay me!

Nice score on the reed, if by any chance you plan on taking it apart and it has a two piece nut which holds the spindle collar would you mind sendinf me some dimensions? I just picked up a 204 as well and it is missing it and i would like to machine a new nut. I dont know if it will have a split nut though as it is an older model then mine. Thanks!

Haha, the easiest way to tell is if you open the jaws and there is a cavity then it does not have rhe two piece lock ring, rather it is a a solid collar that attaches to the spindle with a set screw. Great vises too i have a 104 and it works great

Sorry... I just checked both the 204 and 204 1/2, and they both have the regular collar and set screw.
