Road Wrench

Today on may way home I spotted a wrench on the highway next to an Autozone store. I figured it was probably an import but wth and pulled into parking lot and grabbed the wrench.
It's an U.S. made Thorsen in surprisingly decent condition.

Anyone else ever picked up tools on the road?

There's another thread dedicated to "the best tool you ever found along the road". You'd be amazed what people find out there ...

I once found a wrench the hard way - it went through my tire. So much for being free ...

my dad saw a 4# sledge fly out the back of a guy's work truck. floored it to catch up to let him know that he lost a hammer, but the dude sped away thinking his hammer damaged my old man's pickup.

he went back and picked it up. it's in my toolbox now.

. I found this on the road today. I couldn't find the vise it goes to though. It has a big no 5 on the bottom of it.
