I've been patiently waiting to do this. Find the land, save the coin and finally they are here to build it. I went a head and went 10ft high door and 18ft wide. I often drag in old cars. This way I can easily back the trailer in take a few items off and pull right back out. Hope to get the concrete done in March.

I found rob bilt from here on GJ. Then a place I had gone to look at cars at had used them a few times too. Going with the 3" insulation as well. So, it should look like this inside when it is done.

I have space, there-fore, I fill it.

It is a scientific fact that if a man has open available space he will fill it with tools, hobby or work stuff, just because it is there. It's how the gods meant it to be!!!

I will be watching your build and updates closely to see how they do.

I am currently looking for someone to build me a 30 x 60 and Rob-bilt was on my list of builders to contact for a quote.

When I first on here I was still looking for a place to buy where I could build this fast forward a few years, some land and a few other things and now it comes together.
they still have some trim to do but I am happy.

I put the 2 windows in the east, 1 in the north west and the big door faces the south to hopefully get a breeze.

What is the wall height on your building?
If you don't mind me asking, what have you paid for it up to this point?

Thanks for all the info. I will call them and see what it will cost me.

I'm wanting a 30 x 60 x 14, 26 gauge, 2 windows and a walk thru door. Guess we'll see what the quote comes in at.

Looks really good! I'm just down the road from you in Piedmont. I got quotes for a very similar building and the pricing wasn't quite as good as what you shared, so I'm definitely going to give these folks a call.

For the sake of those comparing, here's what I priced at $12,500 without concrete:
30x50x12
29 ga.
4:12 roof
1 12'x10' roll up door (door included, not just opening)
1 36"x80" walk door
2 36"x36" windows, non-insulated

Key differences:
NO insulation
29 ga. vs 26 ga. steel

You didn't specify what size posts were used. The quote I got was for 5"x5" instead of 6"x6". (Optional upgrade, of course.)

Concrete was quoted at $5,242.00.

So your total cost is about the same, but you got some nice upgrades compared to the quote I received.

JaySlab442, at least you have gotten someone to give you a quote. I have contacted 7 places and got back 1 quote in 2 weeks.

I haven't call rob-built yet, got busy this week.

David, Have you got it finished yet?

I contacted Rob-Built and got my quote today.

$15,985 will get me:
30x60x14
5x5 posts 10' apart
3:12 roof, 5' OC trusses
26 gauge
Rat guard
1 walk thru door, 2 3x4 windows and 2 10'x10' overhead door framed openings (doors not included)
5 ridge vents
Full building insulation
Unfortunately concrete not included

Out of the 5 quotes I have received, this was the best so far. I won't even tell you what Morton quoted me at cause you might fall over, I know I did.

Now I need to find someone to do the concrete and I should be ready to go.

Anyone know what concrete is currently running per yard in Oklahoma?

Those are some nice prices! I was beginning to think I would have to settle for something small when I retire.
