I got an old Robin 2900 watt generator I need brushes for. RGX305D. I found a part number and when I search I do find that number .
This generator was working the last time I used it and after looking at the brushes I am wondering how. The windings look good from what part I can see .
I need to figure out how to test the other parts before I buy anything but this website did show up last night after using google with the part number.
https://sleequipment.com/subaru-genuine-part-365-55002-08-brush-holder-cp.html. I called to confirm and no answer.
I also need a 15 amp breaker and being I don't use the 220 v part of this generator I don't see why I couldn't just wire one in and not try and find the original one.
Parts manual I found shows a no fuse breaker part # 327 66270 08
Brush holder complete 365 55002 08
This engine starts on first pull and runs great. I have had this thing for about 15 years and never once had an issue. Not used that much over the years. I know its old and it might not be worth repairing but still would like to see what I can find.
Thanks for any help.

I don't see my model on Jacks site. I looked yesterday before I posted. Maybe too old.

I just looked on Jacks with the part number and it shows it but says no longer available. I would try calling them anyway and see if there is a substitution / new part number. I do know they have been very busy so it might tae a little bit to get in touch with them.

Looks like I might need to trash this old generator. I don't think brushes would last long looking at this slip ring assembly. Time to purchase a new one.
