Hi All,

I'm just a home user and absolutely don't need it but would like to get a krsc326 tool cart as my main tool storage box. However, I would like to get a custom configuration with more shallow drawers. I know the rock and roll truck is the place to buy boxes if you want a custom config, but does the same apply to the carts? Also, any chance they would also discount the carts or is that not very common?

Thanks,
Robert

You can buy custom configurations on the normal truck I ordered my custom krl1023 right off my normal rout drivers truck. the Rock and Roll truck discounts or deals are not any really different it just a event. Just the Rock and roll truck specializes in tool boxes so they can order quicker and easier. A good route driver will help you

I got one of my carts through the rock n roll truck though the deal itself was made through my dealer. The only reason I got such a great deal was that I purchased it during a big rebate promotion. That and my dealer took more $$ off the cart price on top of it all. I bought the cart on snap on credit to get the rebates then paid it off as soon as the cart was delivered. I got huge savings and paid no interest. I could have gotten free customization but chose to leave the drawers as is. As far as I'm aware, custom configurations cost extra unless you go through the toolbox truck. I'm sure some have had the fees waived by their drivers but as far as I've seen, it usually costs extra if only purchased through dealer.

On a smaller item like a cart with special order options I would not expect much for a deal / discounts. The big price cuts on small boxes / carts are usually on stuff they pre-build a bunch extra and then push 'em out on the street cheap.

With the frequency these things pop up on the used market, it's really tough to buy new. Granted it won't be a custom layout. At least once or twice a month one pops up for $1,000 or less locally. I've been watching because I want a 326 for all my electrical stuff. My driver will be over sometime this afternoon, I'll ask what a custom layout would roughly add if not on a Rock and Roll truck.
