Rock Island 591

I just picked up this rock island 591. Here's some pictures. Any idea when it was made? It has 422 stamped all over it, could that mean 1942? I don't think it could mean 1922 because it has the Britman electric company plate which I've read was not on anything that early.

I just found another number on the top of the slide, "6 45" as shown in the last picture.

june of 1945 is your manufacture date. I cant remember what the other numbers come back to. sometimes they are just casting numbers. Aside from the broken jaw insert thats a very nice little vise!
