Rock Solid/Citadel vs U-Coat-It and others

OK, I have been out of the office for about a week and missed all the drama. I have made no posts, am not represented by anyone else, and have said nothing about any of this to anyone. Kinda hard to do from a hospital room!
I have not read through every thread on here about all this, but I do resent the fact that people are saying the board is playing favorites.
Let me make it crystal clear that Legacy does not work for us or get kickbacks from Epoxy-Coat.

Everybody needs to relax, damn, seems like everyone is just itching to be offended. All Legacy did was to point out the obvious.

I mean come on...dude comes out of no where and post a couple threads about how great Citadel is, then digs up old Citadel posts to comment on, then low and behold Rock Solid guy is coming up with his give away at the same time. It doesn't take a genius to see connection. Lets see, Garage_man is from Minnesota.....isn't that where Citadel is based? How ironic...

I could care less one way or the other, sell what you want, just be upfront about it.

If Garage_man was truly a reg Joe blow homeowner, even he would agree that the timing of all this is uncanny.

Sir. I called the gentleman out for carelessly ripping another vendor that participates on this on site base on complete hear-say. This is not a practice of mine, unless I actually lived through the experience.

Alpha, Epoxy-Coat, and Legacy Industrial all compete on some level. Yet, we all get along, communicate and are respectful of one another.

It was me, and I am getting back to normal. Thanks for asking. I'll be back working full time next week. Luckily my boss has let me take things slow this last 2 weeks. I work with/for some pretty awesome people!

Plus, i believe in using and buying local products and supporting local companies as i am sure the rest of you do.

You dug up an old inaccurate post in an effort to besmirch a vendor. The post wasn't even legitimate as Epoxy-Coat wasn't available in stores then. Perhaps if you give things a good read before you open your mouth you won't have any trouble in life. I am sure you have a colorful history of problems.

"Ok I used self leveler to fill all my cracks and holes, cleaned and epoxied my floor. It started chipping where I placed my floor jacks, and I have peeling. My neighbor used a stain and it looks as good as the day he applied it.
On a side note, I am very hard on my floor, he isnt. I will epoxy over what I have, but then put a clear coat over it next time.
Regardless I wish I hadnt put the paint chip decorations down. It looks cool but I think its gonna look crappy on when the floor gets re-done. Im guessing the Epoxy is a recoat every few years deal... I dont know about the "professional' grade stuff on speed channel. I just used the Epoxy-coat found in your big box stores."

legacy, so is this person not speaking of Epoxy-Coat? How are we on this forum supposed to know that it is not available or is not the same product? it has the same name!

Why don't you just change your screen name to Epoxy-Coat2, woudl make it much easier for us to know your intentions when you post things.

i did not bad mouth the product at all, i have never used it, how could i, all i said was that i was worried about using it because of peoples experiences with it, isnt that what this forum is intended for? Especially the flooring section. Or is it just for the manufacturers to tell us how great they are.

We are on here to learn more about things before we use them and to talk to other people who have. I am pretty sure that is exactly what i was doing. Talking about my experiences with a product and stating my reasons for selecting it.

So, unless you are posting to help someone with a question, just leave the forum alone. We all know what products you sell by now!
