Not sure if you guys know or not but rockauto sells a bunch of different tools. Lots of lisle and other tools for pretty cheap. I picked up a few odd things on my last parts order. I got a lisle 38350 exhaust hanger pliers for 14.71 were amazon sells it for 20.42. Also got a lisle 46950 relay pliers for 12.50 were amazon has it for 17.35. And a lisle 54150 battery and wiper arm remover for 14.61 and it's 20.05 at amazon. They don't have every tool and the selection isn't the best but they do have some nice tools for a really decent price. I've been adding a bunch of stuff to my parts orders and just wanted to let those that didn't know about it know. I've also been adding random things like exhaust clamps and brake line fittings and other little things to my orders just because they are so cheap from rockauto.

I appreciate that they do ship some things 1st class for cheap.
Their supplies & tools section isn't the best out there, but it's not their focus.

No ****, I buy parts from them often. I had no idea. Is there a tool section or do you need to know the part number.

I found out about the tools by clicking on a link during checkout, something like related parts or something. But there is a tab at the top that says tools and universal parts. It's kind of a pain to search but it's there.

That can be said for their parts as well. I've started buying Wix USA filters from them, and when I buy 3 or 4 for all the cars in the family, plus shipping it still comes out cheaper than the local part stores.

I've been their customer for years, but still didn't know about them selling tools. Thanks for letting us know.

I grabbed a cooling pressure tester $20 cheaper than anyone else. Same exact tester, with shipping.

They've had Lisle and other tools for a while. I stop buying parts and tools from them because their shipping is high to Hawaii. Even First Class Mail is high so I started buying parts and tools from Amazon.com with free Prime shipping.

The stant pressure adapters are one thing I found they are a little higher on then amazon. When I work on cars cooling system I pick up the stant adapters as needed. I just picked up one for BMWs that was like 40 bucks on amazon and when I checked rockauto they were around 60 bucks.

Another thing I've been doing when ordering parts is adding a repair manual to the order. I take care of a lot of family and friends vehicles so when I have to order parts for their cars I will add in a manual to their order. It's just the haynes or chilton manual but it's good for quick checks and torque specs.

The adapters are priced high but the stant pump was $20 less than Amazon shipped. I grabbed a warehouse deal adapter to compliment it.

Dont forget to do a quick search for a 5% off coupon code too.
If a discount code has already been emailed to you, I discovered that if you click on the "Account Activity" tab, your discount code will appear and if you click on the code number, it will be automatically entered in your shopping cart. Saves you the trouble of going to your email, copying and pasting it to your cart.

Thank you, Joe, I'll need to check out their inventory, can definitely save on shipping if purchasing tools and parts at the same time. :)

If you actually look at their front page, there are four tabs:

Part Catalog
Part Number Search
Tools and Universal Parts
Shopping Cart

Been that way for years...
