Question for GJ, I'd like to convert some of my cabinets from external hinge to hidden hinge, what would be the best tool (or hand tool) for carving out the cavity wherethe hinge guts lie?

You could use a router with a jig like this


Or a Forstner bit in a drill press

Just an FYI, I buy a lot from rockler, and was looking at getting that guide two years ago, n picked up this Harbor Freight 50" guide. I've used it about 10 time in those two years, n it's done everything I've needed. You might want to consider it if someone's looking for a guide:
