Has anyone out there used the Rocksolid One Part floor coating that they sell at Menards. Just wondering how it stacks up against their two part products. I know it has longer pot life, but if anybody has any comments pro or con they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My son bought enough for two 24 x 24 garage floors but I don't know if he bought the one part or two part. I think we will be putting id down in about 6 weeks so will let you know. The instructions are very explicit about what steps to take. Fortunately both our floors are new and no stains.

I got mine through Rocksolid, not Menards but I guess its the same product. I have had mine down a year, and it great. Very durable, looks great and was pretty easy to put down. Like all floor coatings, preperation is crucial. When you think the floor is clean enough......clean it again!!
You can go back to my old posts to see some pictures. I also used the clear coat on top.

Very attractive pricing @Menards. I was all set to go with either Epoxy coat or Ucoat it. Now I'm starting to second guess myself. Scrambling to do some research on this product. It sounds like a good alternative.

Hey guys, I was just getting ready to ask about this product as well. I think Menards also still has 11% off everything through today?? My questions:
1) Can the polyurea or epoxies be recoated if there is a damaged area(welding slag, paint overspray, dropping something, etc.)?
2) Is there a big difference in floor prep on new concrete?

@Rick....I didn't put down anti-slip material. It can be slick at times, but overall it is very safe.
@JW.....My concrete was new. No stains, oil or anything. I used the acid etch as directed. It was a lot of hard work to my 24x36 floor, but I got it all done in one day. I could have pulled my vehicles in the next day, but I waited about 5 days before I did....just to be sure! I have got spray paint, oil, gas on the floor, and it wipes right up. I can't speak about welding slag cause I cant weld.

Mine is holding up very well. It has taken a lot of abuse and still looks new. I hope to do my other garage in my basement this summer.
