I have a to parter here.

First, I am looking at expoying my floor soon. The only problem is I will have to do it in two stages. I cannot move everything out for a couple days and do the whole thing at once. What is the best way to do it half and half? Do half, clear, let it dry and move everything and do the same and try to brush it in enough to blend? Tips?

Second, Rustoelum and Rocksolid? I am guessing ther pe are better floors out there for more money but this is what is available locally and is in my price range. Honestly, I have no idea when I will do my floors. I am guessing it will be one if those things I decide Thursday night that I am going to do that weekend. That is why being available locally is important.

You can do your garage one half at a time fairly easily if you have contraction joints to use as a border. Just move everything to one side as you said. Do one half in one weekend and the other half the next. Depending on which product you use, you will have to wait a few days before moving things back over.

Between the two products, the newer Rock Solid polycuramine coating would be a good choice. You can read about it here. Last we checked it's only available from Menards. Hopefully you live by one if you want a local source. Be careful if you are finding the older formula. Rock Solid has discontinued it and has had issues with product not curing correctly that has sat on the shelf for over a year.

Be aware that most of the time for doing your floor is in the preparation required, not the application. It takes more than just making sure the concrete is clean.
