RockSolid without swirls

Is it possible to use Rock Solid on a garage floor and have the metallic look, but without the lighter "swirl" marks? I think I want a metallic look, but with consistent coloration.

Also, where can I find pictures of other types of flakes and how to obtain them?

The swirls in RockSolid are obtained from swirling the roller in circles immediately after it is applied. You can skip that step and apply it as normal, but I believe what you will get are metallic highlights where the rolling overlaps.

So there is no way to get a smooth, consistent metallic finish?

We are not aware of having metallic epoxy come out completely monochromatic. Just the application process itself gives it swirl marks.

Perhaps masking the garage and spraying a metallic auto type paint and then protecting it with a garage tested urethane? We have not done this but it seems possible, but messy and overspray and VOC issues.

How about this as a solution? Metal garage tiles? Not our product (we do offer metallic epoxy kits).
