Finally found a deal om a Rockwell DP, anyway only thing missing was the chuck key and nothing on hand fits. Seems the pilot needs to be bigger than 1/4" and no idea on the rest. Everything is stock as far as I can tell model 15-69.

I have a 9/32 coming tomorrow from a buddy, which is slightly bigger than that guess I'll go from there.

Don't remember seeing any numbers, I'll look again this morning. Everything appears to be stock on the drill.

Missed the numbers when I looked the first time. Chuck is a multicraft:

15/64th is smaller than 1/4 but a 1/4 pilot doesn't come close to working, busy day and didn't try the 9/32 yet. Wish I would have taken a better pic pretty sure it is not 25/64th but they do exist.

Looks to be a '78 model:

That Multicraft is the same chuck I have on my DP. .275 pilot (that's what I just remeasured) 17/64 drill bit shank is sloppy, 9/32 won't fit...

My key is also a "safety key" with a spring loaded pin in the center to keep it from being left in the chuck, and the DP turned on, turning the key into a projectile... (Not sure I like that "feature"...)

The chuck model number is actually on the lower part of the chuck near the holes for the chuck key. That looks like the same one on my Rockwell 15-017. I bought a new Jacobs 34-33C and it is MUCH beefier than the multi-craft. It also has the threaded collar for the Rockwell spindle.
