jabberwoki: Nice catch! They are great machines. I have 2, one for wood, one for metal. You'll love it. Like others, curious what the 2 add on pieces are for.
Carefull! You won't stop them with a knuckle...

Yup, I have one also. Mine was manufactured in 1945. Refreshed it recently. Still use it frequently.

Tarnished is absolutely correct about the knuckles!
