I found the RockWell Drill Press and they listed it as a Rockwell 62-011 however this is the model number of the motor. Anyone know the model number of the drill press? Thanks a bunch for your time!

Bears some similarities to my pair of Rockwell 15-665, but yours looks to be a variable speed model.

Great. Looked like a mag starter box, which is is commonly found on 3ph equipment more than 1ph. Just wanted to make sure you checked.

The 2-gang Rockwell 15-665's I posted a photo above had big old 3-phase boxes stuck on the sides when I saw the ebay pics. The seller was competely ignorant of the difference between 3-phase and single phase, and couldn't seem to send me a picture of the motor data plates. I assumed they were 3-ph, and offered a lowball price of $185. He accepted, but when I picked them up, they were 1140 rpm, single phase motors.

Sounds like a the Rockwell 18" Turret RAS I picked up. The ad was deeply confusing, turns out that when the PO had an electrician wiring something else, he asked about it, and the electrician told him it was 3ph based on three contactors on the mag starter. Meanwhile, the ad had a picture of the motor plate stating 1ph...

Did you run out and buy lottery tickets? With that kind of luck, you would have won the jackpot!

Thanks Provincial. It came from a flipper who'd bought it at the auction of a machine shop going out of business. The seller's ebay auction only had 2 out-of-focus pictures, and he didn't know anything except it was a drill press. The bad pics and the 3-phase boxes scared most buyers off, and he just wanted it gone.
