Rockwell Gearhead Drill Press

I have an older Rockwell Gearhead Drill Press model 70-151. I am looking for help in taking the Gearhead apart. There is at least one broken part of the gear train. I have been able to get the middle shaft “loose” but not able to get it to move more than about 1” and hits a hard stop. I assume it is hitting the pin which engage and disengage that gear from making that particular speed
